This guy Foerster. Is he basically a trundler with a shot? I saw nothing of him that was impressive.

He does all the little things very well for a rookie. He’s a piece

Hockey is just a weird sport sometimes. This game could easily be 6-0. Two lucky bounces for the Habs and 4 posts for the Flyers along with many other close calls. I'm really starting to wonder if Atkinson is injured and just doesn't want to tell anybody.

Foerster wins a lot of board battles. I still believe he ll be a consistent 20 goal scorer.
- Trox88

I think he has a chance to be way better than that. I think he has legit first line potential.

AFAIK this is Cutter's first interview since the trade.

He says Hayes had nothing to do with it.

So they have now found ANOTHER airhead to pair with Morganti? This is a recent trend, right? I never recall one pretty face after another whose primary qualification was that glazed look in their eyes and uttering inanities 20 years ago. Leslie Gudel, Dei Lynam - they all knew something about the sport.

She’s whatever. Anyone is better than Colby Cohen.

What would happen if the flyers LTIR him now? Does anyone know would his full cap hit come off for deadline trading?

I am not disputing anything you guys say, obviously you watch him a lot more.

But "little things well", "all around game" etc sounds like a 3rd line player.

How about silky hands? Great skater? Creates his own shot? great passing vision? Anticipates plays? Gets to the open spot?

An injured players cap hit never comes off the cap. Place him on LTIR for what?

He's an NHL rookie. He has strong hockey sense, a good two way game and a big shot. The offense will come.

Christ. What’s drysdale and York doing out there together? Habs just bulled their way multiple times to the net

I can’t wait for the Ducks 1st bit of adversity. This kid reeks of never being told “no” before.

Did somebody get dinged up? Doesn’t make much sense to throw Drysdale out there with other partners he clearly hasn’t had time to practice with yet.

I think he can be a 30-35 goal winger with really good two way play.

Forster needs to improve his skating, he still doesn’t know how to create space for his shot.

You’re seeing the big weakness to drysdale a game. Poor defensive stick, poor board battler. Canadiens looking to take it to the net every time he’s there. This stuff didn’t fly in Disneyland and it sure as hell won’t fly here. Did he get his issued lunch pail yet? I know he’s new

Sure, I don’t expect him to be that, but Forster reminds me a lot of Kieth Primeau, so I can see him being this type of player.

I didn't see what you said, but I notice he is tentative near his own net. Could be newness and unsureness about who his partner is covering.

Primeau was a physical horse and a big mean center. Not that kind of player. Foerster reminds me of a young Mark Stone. That kind of player.

You have got to be kidding me, how many posts now? I have a bad feeling about this game
