Yes! I'm not a Hayes fan but find it hard to believe that he's that influential. It's always fun when Torts gets pissed. - Don Nachbaur Yeah, that sh!t should not be put out there unless you unequivocally have proof that it happened. I mean, apparently Hayes has received threats over this. It's ridiculous that folks would make threats over it, but you just can't tarnish people's image like that unless you have proof. Good on Torts for blasting him! |

So I have been watching a lot of Drysdale footage, from the Hlinka Cup, which he was team captain, to the juniors to the WJC. He is a great skater for sure, and he has a nice shot too. The Frost goal tonight..were Drysdale left the wall skating backwards with the buck to the middle of the ice, drawing the checkers over to him, and then fed the wide open Frost to take a few steps and wire it home was a move he has done many times. There are a tonne of goals that he sets up like that, using his skating ability having the checking player chase him, and getting out of position. He also is really good with the poke check. |

Pretty sure that it was Farabee that had the artificial disc surgery not Atkinson. - Dkos
yeah, I think Farabee had the same surgery as Jack Eichel..the disk replacement surgery, whereas Atkinson had fusion surgery. |

Can't really make a definitive opinion on such a small sample size. He isn't familiar with his teammates or defense partners. Nor acclimated to the system. He has obvious raw hockey skills. Again, not definitive but what I saw was a player that is pretty raw defensively. Needs a good amount of work in that area. Could be just a one game thing but we'll see over time. He's still pretty young. Also hasn't played a lot. I think he played pretty conservative tonight which is understandable. |

Oh, Booooosh is doing the Avs/Knights game on TNT tonight. I wondered where he was. What a stepdown from him to Hartnell. I liked Hartnell as a player and agitator, but he can't do this media thing. |

Yep…a guy with a social media account does not necessarily equal a credible source. That could be the kind of thing that gets your press credentials removed. |

There are hours of his games online..highlights to full games/ tournaments...you can get the gist of what he is.
Most young, offensive players are lacking at defence when then they first come into the league. Hopefully he will become more of a Heiskenen than DeAngelo |

I thought the recovery was supposed to be quicker with the fusion surgery? |

I hear you, although we will never find out the real truth as to why Cutter changed his mind. Even if Hayes did voice his displeasure to Cutter, Hayes is one person and I think and hope that one person couldn't be such an influence on a career decision. It will really suck if other picks (regardless of the team) in the future pull the crap that Cutter did.

It might be a faster recoverytime but it has serious downsides. It is why Eichel didn't want to do it, and the whole trade from Buffalo happened.
Spinal fusion is surgery to connect two or more bones in any part of the spine. Connecting them prevents movement between them. Preventing movement helps to prevent pain. During spinal fusion, a surgeon places bone or a bonelike material in the space between two spinal bones.
Spinal fusion generally is a safe procedure. As with any surgery, however, spinal fusion carries the potential risk of complications. Additionally, it is important to consider the pros and cons with this surgery because it immobilizes parts of your spine permanently and changes the way your spine can move. |

I think we'll see a far more aggressive player once he gets acclimated more. Coming off injury, only played 10 games and then coming to a new team. Not easy

ASF acknowledged on his Twitter account that he got reamed by Tortorella. I hope he takes this as lesson in responsible journalism. |

Yes, it was great how he was calmly answering a question then all of a sudden started ripping the reporter and cursing. Then he was like "go ahead, I'm sorry" to another reporter and answered a question. Hilarious. - Don Nachbaur
Yeah I was laughing at how he tried answering that lady reporter
"I'm sorry, go ahead"
Woman speaks then interrupted
"Is that that stupid podacst? I'm sorry, go ahead."
That sh!t really got to him. |

According to Marcus Hayes ASF’s sources for the Hayes story are from within the “Flyers Family”. |

Halfway point, 96 point pace. That's a really nice job by the team. In the bizarro world of the Gauthier saga probably upgraded their blue line simultaneously being able to trade from the blue line for more assets. |

That is another positive about the Cutter drama not getting enough attention- they can now move an asset for futures or maybe upgrade in C (needs to be a young C with potential or I’ll piss and moan). I guess folks will talk about it more once a trade happens.
Also, this team still looks gassed. They could be sellers. Plenty of hockey until the TDL. If that happens, then this (Cutter trade opening up trade possibilities) won’t be a story. Instead we will concentrate on how all assets can be directed toward forward help instead of D. |
