Hate that we lost so many points at the start of the season. Its really hurting us now, but man the boys are pushing hard coming into the halfway point. Have to love the run they are on.
The team has gotten back to last years gameplan, which relies on heavy forechecking and puck pressure, using that overlapping stifling play to force turnovers. There's a bit of a correction on shots and them going in too, where early on that just wasnt happening at all coming off last year's unreal percentages.
For me the biggest question lies in net still. Overpriced and oft injured Gru who is streaky, Dreidger who seems to just be playing out the string now before walking end of season, and Daccord who is pushing to take the crease and not relinquish it at all.
Given the number of clauses, ending contracts, and the fact we are right there to pushing into a playiff soot RF gonna have his work cut out but thinking theres a push coming here to go for it and augment this roster even more. |

What about the defense? Maybe they could use a nice pickup of Sean Walker (RHD) or Seeler (LHD)...maybe for David Goyette? |

Not the best defensive game but take the win over the Jackets 7-4! McCann leading the way with a pair and MR ASG Bjorkstrand goal and assist. Kartye another tally, back to back games now for him.
And another Daccord win as the streak continues and Seattle really is marching to fight for a post season spot again here. |

Damn. Scoreless 1st but down 2-0 now. Yamamoto coughs it up in our own end. Daccord looked like signalling Guentzel interfered with jim but no challenge there. Seattle not looking good in the middle frame here now 🤦♂️
2-0 end of 2 and not able to get anything going really here in the 3rd so far.
