Still think Tippet has no chance to be an elite player?? You will never see a better goal. - jd250
Potential has never been the issue. |

I’ve been a big fan of his. The kids got a motor like no other. - hereticpride
Obviously there was a reason he was a 1st round pick and the Flyers wanted him in a return for G, some players just need to find that confidence groove. What I like the most about Tippett is his skating and actually use his size together.
Not many power forwards have that kind of motor...not trying to compare, but AO lite maybe. |

If this kid turns into Rico….the Flyers win the trade. - landros 2
He looks like a figure skater on those edges. But here is my question: what else does he have? I am not seeing a great shot, or a great defensive presence, or great passing or great reading of plays. An above average player with elite skating becomes a good but not great player.
Hoping he shows more of that in the games ahead. |

Everyone who has coached him raves about his passing/reads. Give it time. |

That's a good win. Took the Stars apart in the 3rd. Ersson did not have much to do, just steady as usual. |

His hockey IQ is legit…smart, smart kid. Again he’s still a pup. Patience. |

I know Flyer fans are impatient, but this was his...3rd or 4th game? I've seen him make some really good decisions with the puck already and I know it's easy to forget he's 22. York is 23, Sanheim is finding his thing at 26? People need to stop hoping for another Makar, Makar is great because he doesn't come around often.

Can’t completely go by the stats. The pp has been better the last few weeks. They just need a respectable pp at this point. - bird_dog_pa
I'm going off the overall body of work. From game 1 to now. They're for real as a playoff contender but they aren't the best team. |

They are playing about as well as anyone but you can't have the worst peeper and be the best team in the show. - Pelle31Forever
It's getting better lately. All the Flyers need is an average PP (18%) and if they keep playing like this on the PK and 5v5, this will be one of the best teams in the league. |

Nice goal. Would rank about #5-10 in any given season. - PT21
His last two goals made us completely forget about that pretty sweet goal on Frank Vatrano with the ducks early in the season. |

Quinn Hughes has been ridiculous. Too bad he plays on the West Coast, he should be getting a lot more publicity. |

Meh, he has played three games and had a nice long rest before tonight so he should have been fresh. Bust.

I feel like we all need to acknowledge JD saying they are playing like they are stuck in the mud this game 😂 just unbelievable - ClaudeFather
Look, you obviously don't know what you are talking about or what you are watching. Compared to the game against St Louis, the Flyers looked to be slower tonight and even though they had a lot of shots after two periods, very few of those shots were high danger. Dallas slept walked throughout this entire game, they didn't show up and still after two periods it was a 1 goal game. I posted that the Flyers needed to score on their PP to start the 3rd or they would be under siege with Dallas 1 goal down and getting a boost killing the penalty. The Flyers scored that goal, and that set the tone the rest of the way, just as I posted. |
