In my opinion in the case where a woman is intoxicated, whether she invites you to do something or not, be a man and protect her, don't take advantage of her. IF Hart and the other 4 players took advantage of her, shame on them; they deserve the consequences regardless of whether the victim is happy with the settlement or not.

This makes you a tool. And not someone to be wanted in a society. He has not “earned “ your support because he is not your family or friend? Because he is being arrested? So what.

What has he done to NOT earn your support as it relates to knowing him? What has he done to not garner support since becoming someone you follow? Nothing? The presumption of innocents doesn’t just mean you say those words. It means if you have no logical reason not to support by their actions you support them until they give you a real reason not too. Trial and proven guilty or admittance of events in this case surely gives reason not support them. Bud, you can't take a word that already is defined and then make your own definition for it. That's not how it works. Being woke is simply being aware of the struggles and plight of others in society. It's not a bad thing to be aware of what your other humans might have to go through or struggle with on a daily basis.

Yep, I hate to say this, but if these young men took advantage of this situation then there is a price to be paid. This is way bigger than hockey. I truly hope it turns out to not be the case, but this ain't lookin good for the home team.

My definition is applying current sensibilities or standards to past events or cultural norms, entertainment, music etc and judging them by those standards and not the standards of the day.
