Depth goalie for a mid round pick. Someone is always available. - hereticpride
No. Just survive with what we have. Having seen the last 3 games and now this, I suspect that the season is off the rails now and we need to start trading assets asap. I don’t want to give up any picks. Claim a guy off waivers is ok |

One word. Cal Peterson.

Haha. That’s two words and a subsequent loss. |

Were the Kings able to do anything with Voynov’s contract or were they forced to eat it? I forget. - hereticpride
The league and the players' union -- who were going back and forth Friday, a source told ESPN.com -- finally agreed that Voynov's $4.16 million cap hit would be treated just like that of any player under the long-term injured exception. |

And why they traded for Cal and why Torts has been so keen lately to play Ersson as much as possible. And also why Hart didn't get extended. |

Interesting. I wonder if any of the other guys under investigation have gotten extensions recently? |

Thats certainly a better option than burning a pick. I really don’t know what the goalie market looks like right now. There always seems to be a couple decent enough guys fighting for playing time tho. |

I can see 1 player being charged heavily and 4 being charged with some sort of after the fact charge. Knowing but not reporting type charge or something along those lines.
I can see those 4 players make statements along the lines made a mistake in youth and handles situation badly and learned lesson type pr move. Cleared to resume careers. |

No idea but the Devils get hit hard. McLeod and Foote are both being charged. |

In my scenarios is hart welcomed back in Philly? Forgiven for bad decision when 17? Assuming he wasn’t a true offender to the victim? |

Ask Corey Perry how it works. - atibus
Not really the same thing. Perry violated team rules in some egregious way. It wasn't a legal matter. |

I'd be just waiting it out and i guess spend a couple picks on goaltenders. Ersson is your number one for the present and future. Just got to hope he is fully ready because we really have no depth in the position now. I guess me might as well also call up sandstrom to see if he can perform although he hasn't in front of a bad Phantoms team. What a mess. I didn't see the CG thing happening nor this...

Assuming he’s guilty I wouldn’t want him back personally.
I’m not even sure the league would approve taking these guys back any time soon honestly. |

Absolutely not. Even if he's found not guilty, his career is over and for sure his time here. We see what happened with the whole Kate Smith thing.. |

Even if found not guilty, the league will unofficially blacklist them. They'll have to play in the KHL. |
