The package to get Crosby would be huge. I'd rather they spend that (plus more) for someone like Eriksson Ek or Tkachuk: someone younger who can be with the team for 5 years in their prime. If they're making a homerun swing, make it a big one

He’s a very good defensive player and face off guy too. I wouldn’t sell the farm for him either and agree away from stars he doesn’t look too good.

As for Lindholm, I assumed (based on what Kelly said) he was a Pius Suter type. Such a handy player to have. And I agree with you that a contending team like the Canucks don't break the bank to get that player unless he's a game changer.
