I like Brzustewicz's game, but a lot of his scoring this season wasn't from habits that led to translation to the NHL. I think this is a good get for Calgary -- adds a nice RHD option to the pool. Also think this is a solid bet by Van to sell high

It’s essentially a nothing package. Cap dump, late 1st in a week draft and our 6 or 7th best prospect.

Key is hoggy and the top prospects stay

Individually none of those pieces are a big deal, I just hate that it's all of them for a guy with 9 goals.

That and I really liked Kuzy

Kuzy is a great kid but he (frank)ing sucks at hockey this year and we needed a useful roster piece and cap for next year

A 1st, two B prospects and Kuzmenko? That’s fairly pricey, I like the gamble but that’s more than many teams have gotten for rentals the last few years

Idk about struggled. 32pts yes only 9g but Flames haven’t helped him be his best.
