I think Monahan has a high probability of making any GM that acquires him look pretty stupid, depending on what they give up. He's got the 3rd most PP TOI among MTL forwards and plays on the top unit. He's not going to get that in WPG.

Monahan and Lindholm were not good fits for the rangers. Glad they are going elsewhere

Id say Kaliyev is a bit different since hes 22 years old and not coming in with hip problems. However Im not totally sure what the issue is with Kaliyev. Potted 14g rookie year, then nearly matched it with 13g in 26 less games. This year, not sure whats happening. Could just be a kid whos frutrated playing 13 mins a night.

I think he is stuck in the mud because they have two scoring RWs ahead of him. And he isn’t a defensive guy where you need a 3RW

Drury really needs to stay away from the high end center market. Makes more sense to go for Tarensenko and then a low end bottom 6 center. Cost is to high
