The Canadiens acquired a 2025 1st-round pick from Calgary to take on Sean Monahan and at the time his $6.375M AAV. Today, they acquired a 1st-round pick to trade Monahan to the Jets. So they get two firsts and 52 points in 74 games from Monahan. Terrific GMing from Kent Hughes.
