The problem is we didnt have the salary cap to do it. They chose Goodrow over everyone else.

I can't say I'm an avid basketball fan, but I consistently listen to sports radio.. When did it become common place in the NBA to trade multiple 1st rd picks for other players?
Often when I hear a proposed trade, it involves 2-5 1st rd picks + pick swaps.
It seems like a broken system, but NBA free agency sees stars move all the time, so they're doing something right.
I would love to see the NHL develop their own version of Bird rights.

After last year, firing the coach, etc. That’s why I think he’ll be selling future pieces up until this deadline because at some point what’s does he have to lose (talking personally in his own head). I don’t think he’s Teflon by any means where he can not make it happen year after year

I was thinking about Alex Tuch, but Im pretty sure he was mentioned before by someone.

The good thing is that last year he didn't sell THAT many future assets. But he won't survive laviolette. You can't get 3 crack at a head HC without a championship.
