Coincidentally, a ROR - Kakko trade gives us juuuuuuust enough space to get Tarasenko at 50% too. One thing that could suck is Wheeler is probably the 3RW

Rangers were always the team that trailed in a series and came back to win it, it's tough the other way around

They could even probably get a broker to take half of a half of Tarasenko. That usually cost a 4th rd pick. Selling teams love doing that

Does anyone here legitimately believe he looks like and can be a a #1 RW? If the answer is no, then you have to consider your options. Theres plenty of players in the league capable to play 3RW for under 3m per. We need to find a 1RW.

However, we need to also consider, not everything is a player for player swap. If there is a non playoff team out there that wants to give us a 1st round pick for Kakko I feel we have to take it. We also have to consider the option to load up on ammo to make a bigger deal.

Aside from a rental I’d be happy with just about any trade for Kakko. Whether picks, older, younger, piece in a bigger trade, reclamation guy, etc. The asset needs to be something past this one season tho

Chytil thing too should be in their heads. Use Kakko to get a center where we don’t have to worry about that position for a couple of seasons. If Chytil comes back, boom there is your RW
