If they did get him and Tarasenko, they could get a 3rd team for a broker on Vald, and it would give them some money for a center. Chychrun takes up too much space otherwise. But all this sounds feasible, and not just rumor necessarily

Because theyre a perennially bad team. So any time they trade a 1st, its likely gonna be a lottery pick. A Senators team that thinks it can compete for the playoffs is always gonna be ripe for the taking on 1st because they aint making the playoffs.

Yup, Hawks drafted Korchinski, who looks like he has potential to be a solid NHL Dman.

Imagine they had kept their pick last year, at the very worst they could have ended up with Zach Benson, at best, they finish worse and could have gotten a top 10 pick in a draft that I think could have quite a few studs.
