TJ should be more of a Knicks fan because they make some monster trades lol - jimbro83
Big day today, gonna be interesting to see what the Knicks do. Brunson looks like he just sprained his ankle, but if that injury is worse than it looked, I could see them do nothing. |

BTW, this is a solid trade for the Knicks. They just got some massive help off the bench. I think this break out of my boy Divincenzo, made it less necessary for them to go and over pay for a starting SG.
However, this trade seems a bit too small/meat & potatoes for the typical standard NY trade. |

Seravalli said the price for Nic Dowd would be a 1st round pick.

On pace for 24pts
The lack of centers available makes me really want to explore the idea of trading Pageau |

Why it makes more sense to go for the best winger they can. The center market is wild |

His contract is honestly more or less fine. It's not a steal but it's not bad either. Especially when the cap goes up next year. But I'm not expecting them to seriously consider trading him. But the market seems like it's going to be bananas this year. IF Sean Monahan, Nic Dowd, and Sean Walker are going for first round picks then we are officially off the rails |

I've been all about jumping off the Kakko bus but I gotta say, he looks good. I'd rather he gets more time to get his game going then send him out for a Zegras type that plays a flashy, no defense game. Kakko in the corners looks like a bull. |

This has always been my take. I'd rather work with the project we understand then take on someone else's project.
However, it looks like we might be able to move Kakko for several 1st round picks!!! |

Then when he gets to the middle of ice he’s like a cow🥶
Ba da bump!! Zinggggg 🫣
(((Boooooooo)))) lol
In all seriousness he’s looked better. Still has to do more. The moral victories with him have got to stop SOMEDAY tho, don’t they? Or am I crazy, or will this forever be a me and Tom thing. It’s a long time he is in the NHL by now |

Anyone think Quick should start Friday? I think they will ultimately go with Shesty, but I wouldn't be mad at all to see Quick get another start. He has earned it |

This may be exactly who Kakko is. A defensive minded top 9 guy who can slide up and down the lineup, play sound hockey, and chip in from time to time. Being cost controlled also helps for the time being. I think being more patient with someone like him may end up paying off, though. Not every players development is the same (obviously), so it may just take more time to see what he can flourish into. Also, I can't see the return wow'ing us being that his trade value is likely low

Can’t put Shesty in moth balls either, I’d be surprised if he doesn’t play Friday. May be a good team to face too, Chicago has a tough time scoring. But man do they work hard |

I hear that. Could be good for the confidence. Quick just looks so confident right now. I'm sure Shesterkin will come back to his usual self though
