Obviously, it must have been kept in, but that defenseman looked all the way out of the zone when he knocked the puck down. I really find it hard to believe the puck didn't clear. Smart play by Matthews to not touch the puck.

You're mistakenly not giving the Leafs credit. That team that you claimed sucked and called soft, took it to the Flyers on the forecheck. Broke pucks loose, beat them in puck battles, worked the puck down low and a generational goals scorer potted 3 goals. That Leafs team that you claimed sucked. Has a higher point percentage than the Flyers do. All that being said, this game is not over but the Flyers better respond in the 3rd.

Matthews is elite talent, so the Flyers have to play solid hockey, move their feet and make good decisions. They did none of that in the second period. But very true, just need over goal here to make interesting.
