Did Couturier's leg stiffen up from that slash in the 3rd period or was he benched in the 3rd?

That would be quite a move by Torts to bench his captain's first game with the C. I have to lean that chop above the knee was the issue. Not much padding there.

Torts was probably playing mind games with Coots and felt he should've taken the slash better. Then the evil mastermind was probably mad that Coots didn't confront him so benched him immediately. Torts also hates Frosty so much that he was holding a grudge against Coots for sharing some girl scout cookies with Frosty at lunch yesterday.

Couturier chipped the puck off the glass that was kept in at the blueline. Couturier only played a couple of shifts in the 3rd period and only 12 and change overall in the game.
