Everyone is assuming Bunting is part of the Guentzel package, but Ek also said Carolina is after Markstrom. So Bunting could be going to Calgary. Although NJ needs him more.

In the package is fine. As a key piece in the package is a huge problem because he is a C level prospect. Carolina has at least half a dozen better ones. Gleb is neither a high floor nor a high ceiling prospect.

To defend Ek, he has broken trades in the past. Having said that, the last one I can specifically recall was Carter to LA over 10 years ago. Maybe the sources tightened up…
