good game last night. not too impressed with TOR tbh, barely winning over the Habs... I liked Suzuki's game, he looked like Bergeron. Monty was good, even tough he should have stopped the 2nd goal. other than that, kids will make mistakes, no problemo. RHP as the #4C is not ideal but I guess we'll have to take that as a development camp trial.
and Slaf will be a beast. did you see him take Edmundson out of his skates in the 3rd?

It was a very good game to watch. One can see the improvement of individual players. Caufield, as you mentioned, has become a threat to pass as well as shoot....good on him, eh Xhekaj will never be that shutdown stud D-man, but if he can get good enough to not be a liability, then his hitting and hard shot will be nice to have around. The Habs have a ton of 'potential' coming as far as D goes, so there will be talent traded away at some point. Slaf is developing just perfectly.....he is the Habs' version of Colorado's Rantanen.....going to be a huge star!

Lots of fun chirping and trash talk amongst the fan bases last night, but all in good fun - nobody took it seriously, everyone was respectful and friendly.

We had dinner at McKibbin’s Pub before the game, and there were multiple tables with fans from both teams. How many sports rivalries can say that?
