Not with stupid decisions like that.

Poehling has one hand on his stick and holding his other arm close to his body like he is favoring something. He shouldn't be on the ice and he should tell the coach that he's banged up. The Flyers have a number of better offensive players that are also reliable defensively. Starting Poehling and Cates is just absurd. I wonder if Fox's shot deflected? If not, that's a save that Ersson has to make.

Suck bag Sanheim shouldn’t see the ice in OT, I’ve said this multiple times now, I would have started Couts, Tippet and TK and if I win the draw quickly swap Couts out with Frost. You don’t need defenseman 3 on 3, unless it’s Drysdale. Play offense!

Just another asinine opinion. Sanheim is the Flyers best offensive defenseman and is a good skater. He absolutely should be out there in OT. Shouldn't start 3 forwards. Need to have one defenseman out there.

So Torts starts Cates, Poehling and Suck bag Sanheim, what do you expect? And Poehling was hurt! What a freaking joke, the Flyers were the better team tonight. Torts has got to be called out for this, it’s just stubborn, stupid coaching!! I really freaking hate it!

I’d use speedy offensive dmen. If you have jd then rotate him and sanheim. For forwards, id use frost with ot to start. They have solid chemistry and ot can burn. Other team has to respect it. Then maybe tk with coots. Coots is not a speedster but plays a good positional game and wins a draw. He’s got an ot winner this year too.

It s funny to think Tippett is one of the fastest skaters in the league and cannot sniff 3 on 3.

All things considered, all of us would have taken 4-4-2 for this stretch.

But some points were left on the table. Win and lose with your best players in OT.

Sometimes a goalie isn’t directly to blame for the goals but you just can’t make a save for the life of you. That’s what I was seeing from him. Maybe the 6th goal he should have had. Frustrating as a goalie when that happens. Your team scores 3 in the third and you give up 5.

Yea, not a Torts hater but that's one of the many things that ticks me off about him. He's the head coach and part of his job is to address the media. I like a lot of things he does, but he is a sore loser and needs to step it up and do his job.
