I have to believe that ND gets back in due to Rempe. - cdearth23
That kid is gonna die from CTE before he hits 40.

I would rotate Kolosov with the Parker G guy. Sit Peterson the entire year. Maybe he gets frustrated and requests his contract be terminated. Fyers do not owe him anything. I would do the same with Atkinson and Johanson.... - mr4tno
I want no part of Petersen. Even though sandy hasn’t been great, I think he’s the better option for backup right now. Hopefully kolosov is the second coming of shesterkin and can jump in soon. Best news is that he’s actually allowed to come over and not sent to the front lines in Ukraine ffs |

I wouldn't be surprised if the Flyers didn't try an experiment and just plug this kid in (assuming he can come over) and see what they get. Can't be any worse then what we've seen from Sandstrom. Leaves a question for next season as to how they will address the backup position. 3 goalie draft picks were all real good, but they are young, not likely to make the jump all the way to the NHL. Stranger things have happened, but is a longshot. - BluehorseShoe64
Felix will head back to Europe. Cal will be bought out/AHL. Kolosov will likely start in the AHL
The Flyers will have a def need for a good NHL backup or 1B. |

Carter Hart is going to Russia if Canada allows him. Stoli would be a perfect backup. |

Look at the enforcers who have died from that, seems to be guys in the mid/late 90's and early 2000's. Maybe their death also had something to do with their off ice habits.
I do not recall many 70's, 80's, early 90's enforcers passing on. |

I believe it is reported more now. Not a chance that guys from the 70's and 80's did not have CTE. Not sure if the rate was higher or lower though.

Sam I think is only making 1.5 next 2 seasons. So they can allocate some money in that area. Of course dead Cal money is like 3.8 or something. |

Sure there is a high chance they didn't have it. Look how many lead a normal life.
CTE little blown out of proportion to me. |

I give Torts credit for apologizing for his response about Sandstrom the other night. |

Tell that to Mrs Benoit and her son. Chris had the brain of an 85 year old Alzheimer patient when he killed them. |

Do you have any contact info for them?
Do you think maybe the roids and other garbage he put in his body any effect on his brain? Or all CTE? |

It's really not. Anyone who takes repeated shots to the head can be a victim. This is not just a hockey issue.

Kind of worrying there is no timeline on Seeler. I wonder at what point next season the first story will be written about he hasn't looked like the same player since his injury. Oh well, at least he got his $10.8 million. - Feanor I think he was injured March 7th? So take 4 to 6 weeks from that date cause he most likely has a broken foot.

Yeah good luck with that. None of those 3 guys are going to want to terminate their contracts |

Nope.
Benoit was found to have Xanax, hydrocodone, and an elevated level of testosterone, caused by a synthetic form of the hormone, in his system. The chief medical examiner attributed the testosterone level to Benoit possibly being treated for a deficiency caused by previous steroid abuse or testicular insufficiency. There was no indication that anything in Benoit's body contributed to his violent behaviour that led to the murder-suicide, concluding that there was no "roid-rage" involved.

Is Ginning definitely returning to Sweden after this season? - Big_E_88
My understanding is if there no path for Ginning to play for the Flyers next season he will return to Sweden versus playing another AHL year. The fact that he is playing games now is great, since it allows him to showcase what he can do and gives the Flyers a chance to determine if he can make the roster next season or not. |

I would make sure I get a doctor to look at RJ so he cant use this bs injury excuse for not going to the ahl where his lazy ass belongs. |

Can't have Ginning in the lineup next season. Where will ancient artifacts like Staal and stiffs like Ristolainen play?

If he can play the right side we could use him, but left side is packed. I would try to keep him and make him my 7th, similar to what they did with seeler. Offer him 2 yr contract at min salary and if he does well give him more next contract. He plays a fairly sound defensive game, something we can always use, plus he has good size. |

Pretty sure Torts will play Ginning over Zamula when Seeler comes back.
