You still can't grasp that situation. - MJL Yes I can! We just have differing opinions on that situation and as usual you just assume that your opinion is right.

I now understand why Torts was short since he not only apologized but also explained why, he just didn't want to throw Sandstrom under the bus. - jd250 Hmmm...I remember someone on here this morning that said that exact thing about him not throwing his goalie under the bus. Oh right, that was me.

Well if you cant see the difference between having a solid rookie year and being included for #1 center then not much more to say. He would be a fringe part of any trade for a major piece coming the Flyers way.
Do not see many teams beating down the Flyers door for Him. That is also not an knock on him. I do not see anything more than a bottom pair guy at this time. Maybe he can develop into something more. I will not depend on that. His hockey IQ isn't anything special. - furio16
I think he can develop into a solid top 4 defenseman. I see a lot of poise in his game and he is only going to get stronger and more experienced as he plays more games and in more situations. Zamula has really taken some good steps in development this year. |

That's where again, you're wrong. You're just blindly stating that the Flyers should've gotten a goalie. I'm looking at all the available known facts. The Flyers situation and considering it all in coming to an informed opinion.
Have you figured out the different between winning and points percentage yet?

Didn't answer the question. You have this pipe dream that the Flyers are going to able to trade for a 1C - MJL
Vancouver just did it before this deadline, albeit a marginal 1C. They are out there if and when the Flyers think they are ready to take the next step. |

So it's been done before so you think it's likely the Flyers will trade for a 1C? He has 5 goals and 4 assists for Vancouver in 22 games. Frost is producing better. He's also 29 years old and needs a new contract. Is this something you think the Flyers should pursue? You keep dodging the question. What can the Flyers package with Zamula to get that 1C?

You're the guy who is always saying watch the game. You also couldn't explain what expected goals actually are without looking it up! LOL |

Have you figured out the different between winning and points percentage yet? - MJL All available known facts? Are you drunk? You have no idea what was or wasn't available. The Devils picked up TWO goalies at the deadline. DB needed to think outside the box to make something happen in that regard. They're gonna need one going forward anyway cause Hartsy ain't comin back. |

The only known fact is the Flyers didn’t acquire a goalie at the deadline. Why? We do not know. Anything you or others say is speculation /opinion. |

Apparently I can add available known facts to the list of things that you don't understand.

Not really. JT Miller and Pettersson are 1C and 2C.

Not on Vancouver but Lindholm was a 1C on Calgary for years.

How many legitimate 1Cs do you see in the NHL? Even in his prime, nobody is getting to the SCF with Lindholm as a 1C. Yes, there are a lot of default 1Cs on lesser teams. Why would anyone start a conversation about a 1C and mention Zamula first?

We have a favourable sched the rest of the way as compared to the other teams chasing us, but we have to take care of business - Hextall271 It concerns me that many folks seem to think that the skies are gonna be bright and sunny after the Flyers finish with the current gauntlet. Any of those teams could beat them and we know how they tend to play down to opponents at times, and they just aren't good enough to do that against anyone. |

You don't get to judge. It just doesn't work that way. You have no concrete evidence of what was or wasn't available at the trade deadline. Just more speculative drivel from you that you try to parlay into fact. And no, you will NOT get an "eh what" cause I only do that to piss off the turd in the punch bowl that continues stalking me. Dude must be on the verge of a nervous breakdown at this point cause his hero on here refuses to engage him anymore.
- Phillywhiteout
Of course we have evidence of what was available. That's part of the known facts. We don't have evidence of what wasn't available. That's not part of the known facts. Still not grasping the concept. Then there are other known facts that we can use to form an opinion. Such as the trades that were made. The contract situations of those players. The situation and place that the Flyers are in. All of that can be taken into account to make an informed opinion. |

Yes. They have to play well. I think it’s a 50 50 shot as to whether they make it or not. |

Right now, about 23 or so. I don't know why anyone would with regards to Zamula.
