Right now, about 23 or so. I don't know why anyone would with regards to Zamula. - MJL
That’s pretty accurate imo.

You don't get to judge. It just doesn't work that way. You have no concrete evidence of what was or wasn't available at the trade deadline. Just more speculative drivel from you that you try to parlay into fact. And no, you will NOT get an "eh what" cause I only do that to piss off the turd in the punch bowl that continues stalking me. Dude must be on the verge of a nervous breakdown at this point cause his hero on here refuses to engage him anymore.

You're the guy who is always saying watch the game. You also couldn't explain what expected goals actually are without looking it up! LOL - MJL
You're right, I couldn't because to me it's a useless stat. |

Ok, so STOP trying to twist what I posted. What I said is Zamula has had a very good rookie season and there is more there to develop. I think he has a future with the Flyers, OR the Flyers can use Zamula as part of a PACKAGE to get a 1C for example. That PACKAGE would have to include OTHER pieces of course in the form of PICKS, PROSPECTS and/or other roster players. My ONLY point here is Zamula, because of the year he has had, has created some value for himself. He is a good, young NHL defenseman with experience. Again, NOTHING ground-breaking here. |

So it's been done before so you think it's likely the Flyers will trade for a 1C? He has 5 goals and 4 assists for Vancouver in 22 games. Frost is producing better. He's also 29 years old and needs a new contract. Is this something you think the Flyers should pursue? You keep dodging the question. What can the Flyers package with Zamula to get that 1C? - MJL
I think at some point WHEN the Flyers think they are ready, they could pursue getting a veteran, but still young, 1C for this team. Drafting such a player will take a lot of luck unless the team is picking in the top 5 again in a very deep draft. |

If they were to trade Zamula on his own, what value do you think he has around the league? |

4th rd pick, if you’re lucky.
Zamula would be a minor throw in for any deal that brings back a legit, quality 1C. Few, if any, teams are going to make a player like that available and the ask will be enormous.
For example, if Edmonton was willing to move Draisatl this spring, the ask, even with only one year left on his deal, would likely be Michkov, Frost & York. And, when the Flyers make it clear that Michkov is untouchable, Edmonton probably comes back with something like Konecny, Frost, York and a 1st.
These guys usually just don’t get dealt. |

Nothing you said was twisted. Use some common sense for a change. I have asked you multiple times now what would the Flyers PACKAGE with Zamula to trade for a 1C. So obviously I'm aware you're referring to a PACKAGE. I agree, you've offered nothing ground breaking.

Yep, that's all were waiting for. For the Flyers to get a 1C. Just waiting until they're ready. Then bam!!!!! They'll pull the trigger. They'll make those trades and wheel and deal and you can pull out one of your golden oldies. The moves put the Flyers on the definition of the path to the the Stanley Cup.

Gonna require a lot of luck to find one via trade too.
Barely any legit 1Cs end up on the trade block and it took some extenuating circumstances like Eichel's neck, ROR demanding out (which resulted in Tage Thompson going to BUF), BOS being stupid with Seguin, and JT Miller being a crazy late bloomer.
Otherwise all the other elite Cs in the league were drafted and developed. |

I see Kolosov’s team has announced his departure….interesting to see how long this actually takes. - landros 2
In the last tread Bill mention they are waiting on a work visa for him. I heard a Danny B interview and he said getting close maybe 10 days.
I would assume he gets AHL exposure first but even that would be a positive sign.

I think it’s funny how torts has said he needs more from coots and yet they relegate him to the 4th with a low scoring cates and an ahl player. Jeez. I’m sure he’ll excel Playing 10 mins a night with those scrubs. The way he’s handled both coots and frost drives me nuts. |

And Ill add, his line has been good in what limited minutes he has gotten, so IMO Coots is giving him "more" whatever the hell that means in Torts strange world. He isn't using him on the PK or the PP, so Torts is gonna Torts.

Drives me insane. They will need a different coach in a year or so as this act gets thin imo. |

You were getting a guaranteed NHL Dman in the 20+ range. It was a no brainer. And he ends up becoming a great player. |

Keep in mind he will still be an RFA and Columbus will match up to probably the point where the offer sheet requires 4 1sts.

Flyers need to just take the even up penalty instead of a PP. Take the opportunity to punch someone in the face or spear them in the balls. |
