He may want to be on a winning team... but, I fully expect the Flyers to be interested.

Let's see how this offseason plays out. Actions will be loud. If it is status quo then I'll have my reservations of if Briere and Jones can do this.
So far I am ok with some of the moves. Seemed to do there best with the Gauthier deal. Liked moving Walker. I am so so with the Seeler deal depending on what happens with the defense this offseason. I liked the draft as it seems promising.
But again let's see what happens this offseason.

Brining back a cup champion will cost you a few more millions. Good for the culture … |

I do like that line, but want Foerster shooting as much as Tip. - wcorvette
Foerster if he can get in position to shoot, should be shooting. With this said I like his work along the wall and he has young legs. You might want him first forchecker in, go to work, leave most of the shooting to Tippett. |

I don't.
They already have Sanheim, York, Drysdale and Seeler. Ristolianen is also signed but not sure what happens in the offseason. I wonder if they really talk to Ginning to maybe keep him from heading back home. Also you have Attard and then Andrae in Lehigh.
I think it would be a waste of a contract in terms of money and a roster spot to bring back Walker. I think they knew it would either be Walker or Seeler moving forward but not both.

Next year should be a show me what you got from these internal guys. Should not add anyone unless it’s a great deal and makes sense. |

Maybe... considering they were trying to sign him before the TDL I think they will have interest. Moreso after seeing what this defense looked like when he left. I don't want them to sign him but I think there will be interest from the Flyers. Hopefully, you're right...

I get that. But i think it was a Seeler or Walker thing. Not both. Once they knew what Walker was going to cost they moved him and pivoted to Seeler.
For that reason I don't think they look at him in the offseason. If they do I will be disappointed. Especially since they signed Seeler. I don't want to come back with both guys on deals with term.
EDIT: If they didn't sign Seeler then maybe I could see them talking to Walker this offseason. |

I'm calling you out. That isn't stupid or juvenile. Maybe try to employ that self awareness thing that you tell everyone else to employ. Comments like "I knew it the entire time" are annoying. I'll be glad to shake your hand if we ever meet in person!
Now that would be a hoot if all the locals on here actually met somewhere. Just make sure you keep me from wiping the floor up with BH and all should be good. - Phillywhiteout
honestly....i know youre serious and thats the most hilarious thing about your pathetic pig self |

I am changing my pick tonight.
Flyers win 5-2.
Rangers beat Isles.
Flyers back in 3rd in Metro.
This would be just enough of the pain in the ass stuff the Flyers would do. |

Flyers can't get int third tonight, even if NYI lose.We would be tied in points, but they would have a game in hand, so their PPG would be higher. If Detroit loses in OT or wins at all, they would also stay ahead of us. Best we could do was move into 4th in the Metro, and have Detroit win in regulation. That would still not get us into a playoff spot. If Detroit loses, Washington wins, and moves ahead of Philly. No real way to get into a playoff spot tonight. |

Funny with all the points % is irrelevant talk, it could very well be the determining factor after game 82 |

And with a horrible start next season torts get pink slipped like Laviolette & Vigneault, and Krakstol after poor starts. |

The whole conversation is moot because I have zero faith that they’ll be able to beat Montreal with what I’ve seen lately.

I do question Coots playing tonight. If he's healthy, sure, but also on the 4th line again, really?
The question is he really healthy enough to play or is this a situation with the coach really wanting a win tonight and playing a guy who shouldn't be playing.
I have no doubt he wants to play and told the coach he can play but the coach should be thinking beyond this season with Coots.
