It's not out of the question for both the Oilers and Avs to make it to the Conference Final. They did just two seasons ago and were both among the favorites the last two seasons. If that were to happen, the regulation winner of tonight's game would have home ice. If the Avs get one point both teams would tie in points but Colorado would have more regulation wins. Yeah, we're a bit away from the Conf Final but it has the potential to end up being somewhat of an important game.

What a crazy Kings Hawks game tonight! Kings up by 2 going into the 3rd, Blackhawks score 3 unanswered to take the lead, then with under a minute remaining Kings tie it to send it to overtime. Kings win in OT and the 1st round match is set.
