I gotta say this defenseman scoring a short handed goal thing they've been doing lately has been pretty awesome

Did you see that crazy Larry Brooks stat that showed that Zib and Kreider (in over 100 mins), have been on the ice for only 2 less goals for than allowed during the PK for the season. Zibs demise was extremely exaggerated.

I don't know if it's the long hair, the DJ thing in the summer, the hugging after wins, or maybe people just think he's overpaid

Ek says “3-5 games easy” for Panarin, the man is brain dead. Even if this was suspension worthy(it’s not) do you really think a player is getting a 5 game suspension in the playoffs without murdering someone? This is following his last blog where 3 of his top 5 UFA centers weren’t centers. Maybe 3 and 5 are some sort of secret code for him? Would make more sense than the alternative that he’s just this bad.

I usually agree but you don’t make yourself look so bad at the one thing you do by listing 3 wingers in your top 5 UFA center blog do you????? Clicks don’t do anything once you’re already on the site anyway do they?

I don't know. I make it a habit of just not opening the Eklund blog.

He might be fishing for hits from search engines when people type in Panarin and suspension etc.

Edit: People also sharing the article to show others the clown take.

Ok but that still doesn’t explain just not knowing what position people play. That’s super niche

Meanwhile on Canadian twitter people are mad that McDavid was hit, not dangerously, a few seconds late

I know the Rangers got hemmed in at the end and such but they did not panic and kept most things to the outside. Washington had 4 shot attempts in the last 2 mins and only one shot on goal. Beyond the failure to clear the puck, the Rangers played very well defensively there.

I agree. Even that one play that looked REALLY bad where Lindgren cleared the puck, but only about 10 feet outside the blue line had no panic. He had a lane to try for an empty netter, but didn't take any chance of icing the puck with about 10 seconds left. That could have been catastrophic.

Thanks for the additional info Ryan. Another reason why the team not taking any stupid penalties and playing fairly sound positional hockey despite remainining in their own end was so critical

Man Dallas drew the short straw this year. Idk how they can win that series now

We know 2-0 lead going home can blow up, but Vegas is a different cheating animal

They arent cheating, they are playing within the rules.

The PA could have done something the last CBA, they didn’t. The owners could have done something, they didn’t. It’s the current rules. Distasteful as it may be, this was an issue previously and ignored. You, generic not you specifically, can’t rant and rave if you had a chance and didn’t try and fix it.
