Karine Hains: In Hainsight: Kent Hughes Adds Another Blueliner to the Mix As usual, the Canadiens informed us bright and early this Friday morning that they had signed defenseman Adam Engstrom to a three-year entry-level contract.

Great job by HuGo.

Who is the next prospect to sign with MTL? Kapanen? Celebrini? Koivu?

i don't remember if that was one of his conspiracy theories or not. but he was mostly harmless. sometimes he'd get real worked up but you could normally talk him down after not too long. some of these clowns keep pushing when you don't buy their conspiracy theory bullpoop. at least he knew when to fold them and i've seen him admit when he was wrong a couple times, which also isn't usually par for this course.

Agreed, all joke aisde, hence why I was aksing if he was "seen" as I'm not here that often ?

Force young players to compete for spots, what a nice change.

This is exciting.

Well if there's one, we pretty much have to.

Same with any Aramis or Dartanian out there.

McAgg likes him? Stay the (frank) away.

Also: If the Habs don't want to draft the BPA that's a defenseman, they'll trade down. If they stay put, they'll draft BPA and that won't be Sennecke ffs.

Seems like a mid-late 1st round pick... maybe the Habs get lucky, if he is really on their list, and he falls to their second pick int he 1st.

"Sennecke is a burgeoning power forward who is a rare breed of size, skating, playmaking, and soft hands. When he was drafted into the OHL, he was only 5-foot-10 but has since shot up to 6-foot-3. With that added height, scouts have noticed some differences "

he is going mid 1st...the point would be to trade up with the Jets pick and another asset (pick or prospect).

Still think that pick will be flipped in a package for a top 6, but we will see.
