No, he's an RFA with arbitration rights, which is part of the reason the Canucks paid what they did for him - NorthNuck

If you get out from under Mikheyev's contract and you let Cole walk, there is enough money to sign all of them, with a couple mil of wiggle room. - NorthNuck
Can you do a CF ACGM with your contract number ideas? Always draws a better picture for us. Tyia |

I’ve had Petey in my doghouse for awhile yes. Mostly due to he’s not dangerous &/or driving play. I do have a gut feeling he’ll break out against the Oilers. My thinking is they are the perfect opponent for him to get untracked. Also adding to that I see Miller’s line matched up against McD as often as possible. Oilers other lines don’t scare me. |

Not really. I did it with Lindholm at 6, Joshua at 3, Myers 3.5, Z at 4.75, and Hronek at 6.5. Those are all pretty low on the range as well. After the Mik buyout that leaves about $100k without factoring in Silovs either. And it's only a 21 man roster. |

My gut feeling it is the bottom six that will get the job done. Top six are usually watched very closely and you need your grinders to find a way to score.

Did you buyout or trade Mikheyev in the process?
I agree Tanev would come in at half the price Hronek would and do the same role. - VANTEL
Ya Miky will be bought out or dumped if they can find a cheap trading partner. |

On the surface it looks like that. Hughes makes all partners look better but Hronek did mesh well & RHD are not easily found. He’s more of a 2nd pair D on a very good top 4. Will come down to his ask & he’s not getting what he wanted. Has to be reasonable & want to stay. - Nighthawk
I don’t remember any of his previous partners getting 50 points and having top 10 pairing status. Oh that’s right, because it didn’t happen before this year. They are both very good. |

You won't get Lindholm at 6, you also forgot Zadorov.

Oiler team speed is the challenge. PO hockey is tighter but it still has to be effective for 60mins every game. We match up well & luv our chances. Stay away from stick penalties like tripping on reaches, my hated high sticking & don’t go hunting for the big hit & get boarding calls. Smart cross checking not going overboard keeping it down not high.
Our depth on D is good & in goal is hard to call but fairly confident. |

At a minimum we control him for one more season. I suspect he is priority 1 and will get his bag. I’m loving Zaddy, Joshua and Lindholm has grown on me, but they have their priorities. I have no doubt they know how valuable he has been. |

I had just seen an interesting proposal on CF Vitrano and a first for Hronek. I like it, not sure Ducks do. |

I had a proposal to breed a unicorn and a dragon together, but I realized that fantasy is pointless nonsense. I was 12. |

I know, that's what I'm saying. You can't get them all at full price and have money left over. And I didn't forget Zadorov, he's "Z" |

Hronek brings offence & Hughes helped him pad those stats.
Top pairing by acclimation but he did well in that role. He doesn’t carry a top pairing & was more of a compliment.
Yes he had a very good year but it hasn’t translated into PO scoring. 0 pts & not standing out above the others.
He’s probably the 4th or 5th best Dman on his play so far. That’s cuz PO hockey other D are built for it & he has yet to find that level with others upping their game. |

He is a good second pairing guy. I have notice Myers more than him in the PO's.

That’s interesting. Get a scorer & a high 1st. Guarantees a Miky buyout probably.
Vatrano 1/3.65m left on his contract. He is 29 & lose on youth but the high 1st if D won’t be ready. The cap space gained would be the big reason but a big hole on RHD.
I’ve mixed feelings on that deal. |
