York you rule the Canuck school.
The Canucks passed the first test and usually those are the hardest.
Expect a total reset and a much more confident group in the next series. It’s the Oil so they know how to play them.
Time to graduate to the next level. - Quinn's Quest

Thanks NYN.
It wasn’t a dream!
What a wacky series vs Nsh.
I too think this series vs Edm will be much different and more wide open. I fully expect Petey to shine here and get his mojo back.
Vancouver takes it. - dbot
Yes agree it will be different. I wonder what adjustments the Oilers will make?
The Canucks will be pressing them on the forcheck. So it’s not like Oil just wheel up ice like they did with Kings. At 5v5 Canucks can have advantage with center depth lines.
The key everyone says is the Oiler PP. Limit penalties and Canuck PK may come through. |

John Shannon Twitter…
“Auston Matthews, Elias Pettersson and Jaccob Slavin are the three finalists for the Lady Byng Memorial Trophy, for Gentlemanly play.”
That might send Reuby and Vantel over the edge. - Pacificgem
Lady Bing is like kissing your aunt. Meaningless
It even has the name Lady on it and that describes the way Petey plays |

Now he needs to step up if they want to advance.

He misses Kuzmenko.
I thought Preds played a blanket type series, at times was boring but it was effective for them. I don't see the Oilers playing the same type game. Should be more scoring chances next series. |

That was the joke...it reinforces your hatred of Pettersson, who's a soft player. |

You just got out trolled.

Looking at Canuck history they go on these runs every 12 years or so, are we looking at another one? |

It's genetics, like Reuby, Vantel & Minivan being two inches from midget/little people status. You are who you are. Heckuva player though!! (Pettersson) |

Beautiful day like today you should be out in the sun reading about all Bennings great draft picks and enjoying the day.

That would be a short read, he only had one (Boeser) the rest is on the scouting staff. |

He will be traded in the summer. There should be a hell of a return for him.

He played well the last three games, not much room out there to score, should be more wide open to create offense vs the Coilers. |

I was also right about Boeser, when everyone else was sh itting on him, including you, I defended him. I'm usually right, and this is just another example of that. |

Agreed. - VanHockeyGuy
I don't think Petey got any points against the Oilers in the second to last game. He has been on a hell of a slump even before the playoffs. I am not sure exactly but I think I heard the announcer say something like EP has one goal in his last 15 games.
Finding wingers for him is going to be a big issue next year. Let's see how this summer shapes up and hope that Likker is the real deal ready to step in.

Wrong.
I said he had a very good two way game. I was agreeing with you back then on the Boeser issue. I would have thought you would have wrote that down seeing I never agree with you old man.
Hextall is the best GM ever, remember that? |

Was thinking that as well. Wouldn't that be something...
- LordHumungous
Just don’t let Boeser shoot on him and destroy his confidence |
