It's more than that, the whole organization needs a complete housecleaning, first you dump Shanahan, Treveling and the entire coaching staff and then you dump everyone you can but Matthews and start building from the back end out. Get a star defenseman and a goalie that you can count on to start at least 60-65 games and win the vast majority of them (or at least give you the chance to be able to). Forget about trying to play the percentages and following all the analytics and just play good, strong defensively solid hockey and take advantage of your chances when they inevitably come. That's how you build a winner in the playoffs, it's nothing new or even all that difficult, it's just sad that it's taken all this time to get to the point where FINALLY Toronto might be able to stop being a broken team and with a new core, maybe not have Boston in their heads when it counts.
