Laughton yes, Frost no. Not because he’s spectacular, but who’s gonna play center that could produce on this team. Certainly not anyone that we draft this summer. - Laceemup88

That still won’t be enough. They’ll have to include Laughton and Frost too. But they’ll be getting a 3rd,5th and a 7th back.

trading away under 25, skill players that have chemistry with a goal scorer you just signed for another 8 years after next year, with absolutely no replacement in house for said player. Yep..we have seen Buffalo and Arizona do that. But not any team with any sense of true direction. |

Take BPA for both picks this year, do not add anything to move up to get a similiar player with the name you like. Trade TK, Laughton, and no buy outs or FA signings. See what you have...next year, take on expiring bad contracts at the TDL for more options. Draft for need with our 2 firsts next year in a deeper draft.
Be ready for Michkov...by adding 4 firsts, 2 for position, 2 as BPA, plus Michkov, plus the TK return package...they really can turn it around by 26-27.
Patience is needed.
Just curious..Seattle is looking to push next year..anyone think we couldget Shane Wright for TK? Add in where needed. - TheFreak
Wyatt Johnston was the 22 or 23rd overall pick. Gems can be found so long as the team has good scouts and DEVELOP these young men. Please Flyers no more safe picks. Swing for the fence on both first rounders and just stay with those picks unless you get an offer you can’t refuse. |

I agree, that is why I would pass, and just pick where they are.

Good point, didn’t think of the Tippett factor. Might as well have some sense of direction, while trying to build it up. History tells us they won’t be tearing it down to the studs. Hoping they target a center or two in this years draft. Like you said, absolutely nothing in the pipeline. |

To get into the #6-8 range from #12 would typically require a 2nd or a low 1st... and you'd need to find a team willing to trade down. |

Whatever happened to that Flyers first round pick in Wyatt Johnstons's draft year... |

me thinks buff, ottawa, and the wings would def listen to move down.
If looking to acquire another mid rd pick look at the isles, preds, and caps. Though no idea what direction they will go. |

IMHO I would much rather have 2 1st then move up. This draft is all over the place with projected players. A good player will be there. Just pick BPA and trade Laughton and TK.
Do NOT resign Johnson. Guy is gassed. |

I think that’s the year they gave their first away for Risto. They took Samu T in the 2nd |

Ironically WJ was pretty much the kind of player the Flyers typically would have liked in that range: the kid played bigger than he was, was all motor and character, but needed to improve his skating.

We can only dream. I feel like Fletch would've taken Chaz Lucius though. USNTDP midwestern kid, over 6 foot center, committed to Minnesota. |

Really would depend on how the first few picks shake out.
Like if Demidov started to slide like Michkov did then hell I'd be happy to trade up to take him. Ditto Lindstrom.
But if they're blowing a 2nd to step up on D!ckinson or somebody like that, no thanks. |

Yea... Flahr and Fletch have always loved 200-foot Americans and Swedes.

I’d gladly trade rosters with Buffalo Arizona or Ottawa any day of the week. It doesn’t matter who scores now on roster. If you need to trade a frost in package to gain better talent you do it without hesitation. |

Flyers need a #1C and top pair d-men. Whatever it takes to acquire those players should be in play.

Hopefully Marner can play Center lol
Seriously though Danny needs to pull something off. They badly need a quality and reliable top 6 center. Anything besides Michkov should be on the table. |
