Tom the truth hurts some of these clowns, they are Ranger fans but dont understand the game. Sign/Trade for every big name player/free agent and we will win the Cup.

Like they have been doing this for 85 years and it has only worked once.

the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expect a different result.

They live on fantasy Island. Well more live East Cup Cake Long Island. The sea air must have affected their brains.

I thought we were supposed to go after better 5 on 5 players this summer

Stamkos makes a lot of sense. Although it would be a little odd for Yzerman to let that kind of news leak out about Stamkos when he's still technically part of the Lightning until Monday.

imagine thinking anyone would prefer to live in Detroit instead of Tampa

Sometimes you gotta look and see if a player will really fit on a team.

I would say directing homophobic slurs at Brukie probably does too. Big if true.

I don't understand his plan for the Wings. He did a good job with Tampa but then kinda just went with odds and ends in Detroit.

I assume if Tampa won't pay him what he thinks he's worth he'll be happy to get paid that elsewhere. Not sure how it'd all shake out with state income tax but who knows.

I've heard the suburbs around Detroit can actually be beautiful.

Some, if I recall. But ultimately it all worked out.

I have no idea what'll happen, but an Yzerman/Stamkos reunion makes some sense to me. Gives them much better center depth. Although Guentzel would fill the hole left behind from Kane leaving, assuming he does.

Who knows. Monday will be fun. Not for the Islanders, but in general

I'm not entirely following it either, but I think he's earned some time to stave off criticism based on what he accomplished in Tampa

Never been to the great state of Michigan personally. I'm sure there are gorgeous parts of it but I don't travel for work and don't have family there and certainly have never said "hey honey, we should really take a vacation to Michigan some time"

I worked for an airline awhile ago with it's hub based in Detroit and it's pure crap

plus when visiting the Tampa area once a friend showed me the neighborhood where Stamkos lives

Stamkos isn't going to Detroit

They haven’t made the playoffs in 5 years. Could’ve been dumb luck in Tampa. Who knows? I don’t think he has much runway left

Tampa is a cool city, I spent a couple days down there. Bern's Steakhouse was awesome, even though they weren't doing the wine cellar tours (they have the largest wine collection in North America if I recall). I watch the sommelier open a bottle from 1932 for a table next to us

I’m not offended by the statement. I was letting you know that you should say more things like that. Everything else just feels forced and makes everyone want to leave
