Larry Brooks:

Stop me if you’ve heard this before, but the Rangers are interested in bringing Patrick Kane (back) to Broadway.

Very interested.

The Blueshirts have been publicly attached to a number of high-profile impending free agents such as Jake Guentzel and Tyler Toffoli as the July 1 market takes shape pretty much because the Blueshirts are always publicly attached to high profile pending free agents at this time of year.

But it is our best information that the Blueshirts have their eyes trained on a reunion with Kane, whose 19-game cameo following the 2023 deadline when he was compromised because of hip issues left everyone wanting more.

I don't understand what the joke is there.

But please, explain to me how a player with a defensive rating of 0 can be a good to elite overall player. Would he just skate to the bench and jump off as fast as possible every time his team loses possession to let someone else take the responsibility of defending?

Tom has one motive, and it’s to piss people off. He’s not making any points, ever. By hell or high water he tries to do that. It’s refreshing you and Rick are finally seeing it.

This is what I mean by Brukie being obvious!!

This is what they want Brukie. You and I gotta read, react and continue to be the causeway of truth regarding the Rangers and their multitude of in house issues preventing them from winning a championship.

We will prevail.

- blacksheep1

Get off your I'm some kind of NYR prophet schtick. We all want what's best for this team.

We finished this year 3rd or 4th overall, not 1st or 2nd but still above the other teams. We all want what's best for the future but you write the same stuff everyday. It's exhausting Tom.

Actually one of the proposed trades involving the Rangers moving up at the draft was with the Sharks:

To San Jose: Kakko, 30th Overall + small add

To Rangers: 14th overall ( Penguins original pick )

Trade would be executed on draft night so Rangers get some buzz in the Dolan Sphere. Rangers would then use pick to grab D Sam Richardinson to add to their pipeline.

- TommyGTrain

Right, I just mean that Friedman was saying the league was going to review any trade with a fine-tooth comb because you can't arrange to have someone claimed off waivers and then make some lopsided trade in the Sharks favor to compensate them for making the waiver claim.

Not implying the Rangers/Sharks did that, but it sounds like the league will be watching them like a hawk to ensure that it didn't happen.

Tom the truth hurts some of these clowns, they are Ranger fans but dont understand the game. Sign/Trade for every big name player/free agent and we will win the Cup.

Like they have been doing this for 85 years and it has only worked once.

the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expect a different result.

They live on fantasy Island. Well more live East Cup Cake Long Island. The sea air must have affected their brains.

We know. And I'd expect trolls of other teams to come here and remind us of that. Not someone claiming to be a fan of this team. Your schtick is exhausting too Brukie. We're tired of it. Tired of reading about it everyday. Someone beat me to it but I said it to you both in the past. You and Tom need a new hobby.

I worked for an airline awhile ago with it's hub based in Detroit and it's pure crap

plus when visiting the Tampa area once a friend showed me the neighborhood where Stamkos lives

Stamkos isn't going to Detroit

- jimbro83

Dunno Jimmy there are people who enjoy living in Detroit though. It's like when people tell me NYC is a dump. Lived there for 8 plus years and it (frank)ing ruled. Greatest city in the world, that i've lived in, granted the only one

What can they do tho? Goodrow is already there lol if they thought shenanigans say something in the moment. I think that a good trade for both teams tbh

It's easy to be a prophet when your prophecy is "This team won't be the 1 out of 32 teams to win the Cup"

Tom's the guy at the casino telling his friends the house will always win and then when his buddies lose money he rubs it in and says "i told you so" even though his buddies were just trying to have a good time and maybe rub a titty or two

Not really sure about all of it. But I know that Team X can't call up Team Y and say "Hey if you claim this guy off waivers, we'll trade you our 1st round pick for future considerations"

League has to approve all trades, so they could potentially nix a deal. I have no idea whether or not they have the power to undo SJ's waiver claim of Goodrow or not.
