the silver lining in not going anywhere in 2023 playoffs, if we made 2023 ECF the 1st rounder used on Perreault would have gone to Chicago for Kane

Woudln't be surprised if this was the case. We certainly seem to have a log jam at LW and even if he moves to RW, he can really only play in Kakkos current spot as the 3RW. Sure seems like either him or Kakko are the odd man out up front

It would depend on the return. I really like Othmann and have high hopes for him, but I also understand he is probably our highest regarded prospect not named Gabe and you have to give to get. Being a natural left winger doesnt help his cause

Dakota Joshua, signed 4x$3.25M by VAN, is a physical two-way net-front winger who made a name for himself in 23-24 by scoring 22 goals on 93 shots in the regular season and playoffs. The avg quality of those shots was very high, but probably /some/ regression coming. #Canucks

I have a feeling Drury will make his splash but then also sign some of his cheap $900k veteran deals to see who might pan out. Gotta have some vets in the bottom 6 but just can't overpay for them like we did with Goodrow.

I think Colton is a great fit for 3C. Cuylle Colton Kakko could also be a good line, but it’s sink or swim time for Kakko.
