Good morning all, how we doing today?
- airjan23

Good morning Jan, just glued to anything hockey over the next few days especially especially Friday with the draft and Monday with the opening of FA.

I have a feeling Drury will make his splash but then also sign some of his cheap $900k veteran deals to see who might pan out. Gotta have some vets in the bottom 6 but just can't overpay for them like we did with Goodrow.
- SkjeiStadium

I think if they trade Trouba they’ll fill it with a cheap guy and then at the TDL get someone with a playoff type game, a bigger and badder guy.

I think a new guy for the top 6 has gotta be acquired this off season

I’d give up the farm for Brady Tkachuk

If Rempe gets quicker, maybe more agile, the opposing D will be shaking in their boots/skates
- Slimtj100

But if the rangers let T and his physically go and have Rempe on the 4th playing limited minutes other teams are not going to worry about who is on the ice. They are still going to some big body’s that aren’t afraid of hitting.

Agree with with. Rempe has to get more than 6 minutes a night

If there is one thing I hope Lavy learned is to play the bottom of the roster guys more. At least in the regular season. The whole team seemed worn out a little bit due to excessive use in the regular season games

In a heartbeat. One of the few people I would trade Gabe Perrault for

I think we will see more regular shifts from Rempe next year. It'll be good for him too, having a full season under his belt and not coming up with <1/4 of the season left while the Rangers were pushing for the 1 seed

As a whole they probably expended too much energy for seeding

I gave Lavy a year before I judged him. I wasn’t to impressed to be honest. Didn’t think he did a bad job, but thought he ran those top guys into the ground when it wasn’t necessary. He didn’t trust the bottom 6 or 3rd pair and I didn’t think his lack of trust was warranted. There were games we’d be up 2-3 goals in the regular season and he’d have the top 6 out there rotating shifts. Completely unnecessary.

Yea I’m with ya there. I didn’t like how he handled the game flow at all (most of the time)

Kane is a hard no for me. Draisaitl would be great, but would need to unload Zib to make it happen.

I think jones is pegged for 3rd pair left side tho. I know we kinda don’t love it but it is what it is. We have bigger fish to fry anyway

It also signals to him that he is no longer wanted and may make him more amenable to just going anywhere. It can't feel good to get asked for the list early.

Surprised no one is talking about Trouba's wife in all of these rumours. Wasn't she key to bringing him to NYC in the first place? Does anyone know where her career is at? Thought she wanted to be in NY for medical school or work or something.
