If you're injured? You're selfish to hide it and play...and if you're hurt, then suck it up buttercup.
I was very close to jumping on the Draisaitl bandwagon, but no...same old crap.
-Trying to take on 3 guys alone
-flying the zone early
-not managing the slot
-not supporting his D in the corners
-pouting when the rush dies and slowly skating off for a change when he should be backchecking
-selfish low percentage high angle shots that exit the zone after he misses
-dumb penalties after he loses the puck
-pouty and difficult with the media

Draisaitl is 100% the type of player to risk playing injured. "If we win, great! If we lose...we'll then it was because I was injured".

If Dribaby was hurt he should have sat he’s a liability if he’s hurt cause when he’s healthy he gets lost looking for his own end of the ice so now he’s hurt and can’t do much at either end, this should not be commended he should be shamed for hurting the team playing even more selfish then normal by playing hurt

Should be proud and happy. Just saved $5-$6M in cap with this result. McD would take no less than $16.5-$18M aav with a Conn Smyth and a Cup to his name. Draisaitl woulld command $14-$16M. Bouchard $10-$11M.

All the outpouring of emotion, personal messages to the Oilers player, and these heartwarming messages of congratulations for the Oilers here on HockeyBuzz - it makes me rethink everything, man.

Maybe it’s not about winning or losing at all. Maybe the ‘Cup’ is the friends you’ve made along the way.

Will be interesting to see the changes for next years PO's in EDM.
