How many phones does KFC have? I would think he has a few if he's fielding calls from Ottawa (Chycrun), Rangers (Kakko), Tampa Bay (Cernak), Winnipeg (McGroatry), Montreal (#5 pick +) plus the agents for Teuvo, Debrusk, Carrier, etc.

KD already moved up from 20 to 18, but I expect he'll try to move up again. I think it's more likely that he'll use #18 or trade it away for a young forward.

After what happened last year trying to move up for Moore, I wouldn't be surprised if going from 20 to 18 plus the 2nd round move up, KD believed he likely made his best deal as far as draft choices.

I think that trade was quite impressive. He moved up 2 spots in the first round and 4 spots in the second. Sure, it cost a late 2nd round pick, but the Hawks have a ton of draft capital in the next 3 drafts (5 first round picks and 7 second round picks) and its a price the Blackhawks could afford. Its also likely not the last trade KD makes with some of those 12 picks.

Cernak is a nice tough RH Dman - I'm all in if its a deal where the Hawks don't give up much. Maybe a couple of future mid round picks, something like that,

Talk about screw ups… let me tell you about a guy named Connor Murphy. Guy shows up, takes the place of a great defender, and we proceed to have one of the worst seven year stretches in franchise history.
Every year he packs his golf clubs and Superman spandex to go play for USA in the World Cup of Nothing games. He displays ‘great leadership’ while leading the team with zero points and a minus four rating.
He gets an A on his chest for the spandex, and his nhl squad doesn’t sniff relevance until he’s finally gone.

Absolutely love this. The US sends their best up into Canada to play 2 of 3 CHL allstar teams. Bet this gets chippy...... This is must see simply for the hockey but add it'll be all of that yrs draft prospects and it's can't miss tv.

When I started following the USHL way back when there was always rumblings about the USHL sending a team to play a CHL club. 15 yrs ago the USHL would have a hard time hanging but not now. ..... I'd love to see it and think it's good for both leagues and fans would be nuts for it.

Considering he got demoted last year to ECHL I'd assume he will need to really work hard to raise himself to getting close to the NHL.
