Sh@t all over the players/recommendations then don’t offer up any of your own - classic 👍😀 - Brooks_Light
If they miss out on Guentz, I think they sign Dillon and Hakanpää, and then make a big swing trade for a younger forward. |

Tanev Zadorov Kane - Nighthawk
Was just reading that Treliving is rumoured to have offered Tanev a 7 year deal to keep the cap hit low.
Yikes. |

Treliving entering JB status... they'd push him to LTIR but that's still funny |

They’re basically the same person. Someone should make a Tre meme

I think that’s a decent plan - prioritizing two big D with a healthy past and then focussing on the best forward available with whatever $ you have left.
It might mean solely signing Silovs and see if anything opens up after the summer to find a desperate league min backup 👍😎 |

Just gonna leave this up here for anyone interested…
“Chris Tanev had an amusing reason for choosing to wear No. 3 with the Dallas Stars after being traded to the team on Wednesday. “Basically, I thought three is half of an eight, pretty much,” - enjoy Toronto bud, he’ll fit right in |

Sounds about right. Met Tanev a few times and he is a super good dude but not bright. Kind of hilarious he is valued for his defensive IQ |

Yeah, he’s a great dude. I remember him being asked something like what his 3 desert island disks would be and he said something like “no music just my Grandmas Cupcakes”

Great list - total pipe dream. I don’t think there’s any variation of those 3$$ that the Nux could afford even two.
We got 15$ for 2 forwards, a D and a backup plus the other few minor contracts - Brooks_Light
Better then overpaying for Miky types like Teravainen or Myers types like Dillon. Swing for the fences, at least the players I want have pedigree and have won Cups recently and were big parts of the teams that did so. |

Hey man - I want them too but even one of those guys bankrupts the budget. If you heard Allvin talk about the Big Z situation you know the mentality is about building a team and not focussing on/overpaying one big ticket guy.
Good news is - there’s a lot of options available and like I said we can make smart signings if the goal is defending and scoring by committee and finding guys like Bluegar, Dak and Garland who play the right way and buy into Toccs system |

They wouldn’t sign with your Oilers when in their prime. |

As much as PA wants to win he already spent assets last season. Don’t see him doing any rash signings. |

Heard he wants to stay in HogTown. |

Go for Matt Grezlyk and Montou
Montou is Montours bigger stronger cousin |

You’re right he does. He started out with a fire inside him but seems like a few injuries have kept him from playing to his potential. Maybe giving him a full season with Miller/Boeser would be a turning point.
The Skinner buy out is interesting - a change of scenery could be what that guy needs. He could be affordable/short term. A creative guy like Petey could might be a great fit - but they’d need a bigger, faster guy to do the chasing/lower board battles - like Mantha?
Skinner, Mantha, Hakenpaa, Kulikov?? |

Oleson from buff would be worth a flyer imo. Better coaches could help maybe. I think the talent is there. |
