Right, I'm not saying Caufield is a bad player, he plays with Nick Susuki and scores some goals. If I played with Susuki, I would score some too. In the end, I'll take a potential top pairing defenseman over a 25-30 goal winger any day of the week.

I blelieve Luchenko wil make the team in 2025 because .1 he will have a monster +1 year and there will be nothing left to gain by him playing another year in juniors, 2. he will be too young at this point to play in the AHL, 3. he already has an NHL body at 5'11" 195 lbs. and 4. centers develop faster than defenseman, especially when they are already 200 foot players which Luchenko is. Thus, I do not believe he is 4 years away.

There is literally zero chance that Luchenko makes the Flyers in 2025. Zero. He's going to play two more years in Juniors and then will likely need at least a season in the AHL.

Yet Buium is too small at 5'11".

Bad pick in my opinion. Take the dman, and trade up to get Luchenko.

C'mon man..read reviews by sport experts...the ONLY team with a poor review on the draft is the Flyers. Even if I am wrong on Drysdale, and he is actually a top pairing dman, Buium is still better than Andrea was at this point, and Andrea showed nothing in the AHL or NHLlast year to say he is adapting well to NA play. If they wanted Luchenko, fine, but to not take what was considered BPA at that point in time is just dumb. You have spent 3 days arguing with everyone that it was the right pick....that says something, no?
