I think if that offer were on the table Drury would take one last swing at trading Trouba and then buy his ass out. There's no downside to this. No one is signed long term. Zegras barely makes more than Chytil and has higher upside (which he's already shown), Vatrano at $1.8m for one year is a home run. Gudas vs Trouba is net zero at worst. The only thing that could go wrong is if Kakko magically becomes a top 6 forward.

A lot of words for a trade that will never ever ever ever happen. Picks and prospects not named Perreault of course.
