He can still stand in front of the net and deflect the puck in or chase down a home run pass from Mika every 10 games |

I think we’re more likely to see a rebound season from Zibanajad. same for Trouba maybe some regression for Panarin. I would expect CK, Fox and Vinny to perform at least as good.
I’m OK with vesey being a healthy scratch until we need him.
That leaves: to Kakko or not to Kakko - Greschnergy#4
I’ve been Chytil’s biggest fan boy since we drafted him, but based on how this team is made up, I think we need a 40-45 pt 3rd line center that plays physical. Colton is a perfect example, not sure Chytil is a fit. Not that he’s not a good player, same as Vesey, not saying he isn’t a good player for someone, I just don’t think he’s the right fit for us. |

Speaking of Zib it’s clear cause of his NMC he is gonna be here the next 6 years. He played his best when he had a really good right wing like buch on his side. Drury really needs to make it a priority to find one this summer via trade. Enough of the patchwork deadline hopes. Have to try to get the best out of Zib or we are screwed lol |

Smith could be a stop gap, but it’s 1 of the reasons I want them to go after McGrogarty. Young, cost controlled RW. Let him grow and develop with 2 veterans with Zib likely being his center for the next 6 years. |

Here we are again, putting the weight of the world on a 20 year old that hasnt played a single minute in the NHL expecting him to be the missing piece here.
If you want to trade for him, go for it, Im all for it. But to throw him out there right out the gate as 1RW, its deja vu for me, and a critical mistake. Play him in the AHL, if he forces your hand, than so be it, great. |

Like i said earlier, the ironic part is how good they are together without a RW! Sometimes they get more chances than the team on the PP |

How? Its not like the teams were gonna play against in the playoffs again are getting any worse, except maybe Carolina, but Jersey, Boston, Toronto and Detroit all made some upgrades. Will be interesting to see how the Lightning look without Stamkos. |

Don’t think he is done. He is a top 20ish center in the league. Just not that top 10 center we paid for |
