He really does. When he didn't get qualified I went to look up his numbers because I had thought he had some decent production over the years but there really isn't much there. His possession numbers aren't great either though they're skewed a bit by how often he starts in the d-zone. He even had 0 points in 7 AHL playoff games last season and his team went to the conference final. His entire reputation - what there is of it - was made off of a few games in the 2020 bubble. His little brother may end up having a better career, he has a chance to start on the Avs' 4th line this season.

Listen, if the stats indicated he was a really good player...then this wouldn't be sneaky. The definition of sneaky is when everyone thinks a player sucks, but you know better. Lou is sneaky like that. Ek has labeled a lot of signings as sneaky over the years.

Sneaky? Why do people still give this geriatric this undeserved and bizarre credit every time (and on the extremely rare instance) he makes a move. This is an AHL depth signing. Wow. Sneaky 🙄
