Yeah, I'm with you on this one. Despicable hire. Been an Oilers fan for more than 40 years, but I can't ignore this decision. Hopefully the reaction is universal condemnation and the Oilers correct their course before the season starts, but the fact that we got to this point at all can't be erased. Jeeze, you're acting like he's the one guilty of sexual assault. Get over it already. There's nothing he could've done to reverse the assault. It happened. Sure we can all have opinions and so on, but personally, if Beach and Kennedy have given their "OK" and forgiveness, who are we to say that is not enough?

He can be forgiven, he can find redemption. He doesn't have to be GM of the Edmonton Oilers for that to happen. Frankly the fact that he doesn't see a problem with being back in that role tells me that he's not ready for it yet.
