Sorry, you are completely wrong. I cannot believe Montreal took that salary on for a player than may or may not help them. When he played in Columbus he did some good things, the problem was he didn't play enough to help the team.

Montreal handed the CBJ a ton of cap space, a young D-man with room to grow, and freedom from an ugly albatross of a situation. The team is better off for it.

IMO; in two years the CBJ will be in the playoffs, and Montreal won't.
