Seems to be a possibility of TSN wrestling the National Cable Rights, in Canada, from Sportsnet. Sportsnet seems to be shaving down it's roster of decent announcers and analysts. TSN seems to appeal to the younger set, with a little more comical relief and less seriousness. The Overdrive cast is entertaining and seems popular with the younger fans. Another 12 years of Sportsnet would be a borefest.

Maybe? Just looked it up. Sportsnet has the contract til the end of the 2025-26 season, so any big changes now for that reason seem early. Perhaps they’ve got replacements in mind they haven’t announced yet? Do the same thing as TSN to make people happy?

Also Sportsnet is owned by Rogers so TSN won’t be getting the leafs deal either way.

I'm bullish on the Leafs youth movement, specifically Knies and Cowan.

If there are no more substantial roster moves, then there is a major opportunity for one or both of these kids.

Knies is due. I will go ahead and say it - the kid takes a big step up this year.

Cowan, we'll see, maybe it's too soon, but I'd love to see him and Knies both explode and give the Leafs some serious depth in scoring. poop, let's see Holmberg get 15 and really make things interesting.

Gonna throw tickets up on TicketMaster but figured I would share the best offer from here…figure it’d be good for a laugh (for some anyway).

The offer for the tickets:

- $50
- Bag of grass
- A couple beers at the game (as in meet up at the game during intermission)

As much as I thought it was hilarious - couldn’t take the deal! Amazing!

25 years ago, I would have done something impulsive like that.
