is the general consensus that Fubo is the best live tv streaming service to use as a sports fan (who needs msg networks) ? I'm pricing out options and having to pay for the new gotham app sucks |

If only Mancini was a LD, this would be so easy. Sucks for Jones but Mancini may end up making it if someone else wants to move to their off side? He looks that good. Once Trouba is gone next offseason, our right side looks SET. |

It's like 30 bucks a month you (frank)ing cheapskate.
I was actually able to watch the game yesterday using 1pixmedia on our android TV without issue. Annoying install but it mostly worked fine. Still might do the Gotham app but I too don't want give Dolan money. |

If you have an android TV or a firestick look at 1pixmedia. You need to go through some hoops but it doesn't cost anything. I would definitely use a VPN with it though. I am planning to subscribe to one soon. |

I believe they blackout local sports but I’m sure they’re are ways around it. I’m looking to cut the cord too, so let me know what you come up with. |

Well it comes with MSG so what local sports are they blacking out? The national broadcast games don't get blackouts. |

You’re probably right then. Looks like MSG and MSG+ are available, so those random MSG2 games could be a problem. |

I actually might do this. MSG comes with the basic package, and it’s actually showing MSG, MSGSN, MSG2, MSGSN2. Not sure what that means for accessing all games, but for $80 a month I’d probably save $40-$50 vs Spectrum. |

Modem or router?
Sometimes your ISP gives you a combo unit that you will need to return and replace with a cable modem and separate router.
If you are on fiber the only thing you can do is have them put the unit in bridge mode and put your own router after it. Some isp's will not do this. or at least will give you a hard time.
I like my ASUS router but I have admittedly not looked for one in a while. I can look up options for you if you do in fact just need a router. I would also suggest buying your own cable modem but that may not be possible. If you have a coax cable running to your modem you likely can. I'm using an ARRIS SB8200 and it has not gone down since install back in June. The rented modem I had used to go down multiple times a day after they "upgraded" my service.

Maybe I've got the rose colored glasses on here but I feel like he could be more. Obviously Fox is our top pairing RD, but Mancini kind of seems like a combo of K'Andre and Schneider. |

I was able to reduce my monthly Fios bill by $25 just by calling. These (frank)ing people know how to keep their customers by giving their lazy asses JUST enough to stay |

That was like Sirius before I just dropped them altogether. I just had to call around renewal time every year and tell them I wanted to cancel my service and they'd drop it from like $300/year to $100/year |

Sirius xm is the (frank)ing worst dude. Everytime I lease a car and get the whatever months free they start harassing me via snail mail. Eventually they send unmarked Manila envelopes with “urgent response required” on them |

Sorry, should have clarified cable modem, router and WAP. I want to send the combo unit back. Yes, it is coax, fiber is going to be a long way off in the future. |
