Lets be honest. Vegas will probably find a way to trade for him at the deadline if he isn't signed by then. Probably wont pay much for him, and subsequently sign him to a massive deal.

Why would Drury even consider this ? They can and have to afford Shesterkin it’s just going to cost a lot more to keep him than anyone originally thought. You don’t let go of that kind of talent. I believe he is more valuable than any player not named McDavid ! His agents understand this.
