Nice way to start off the season. Solid road win against one of the better clubs in the west. Really good goal tending, strong on the penalty kill. Shootout victories are also rare for us.

It looks like NHL center ice is gone. Does anyone have experience with the ESPN+ streaming service? How many flyers games should i expect? i am not willing to shell out 80 plus dollars for HULU or Fubo being that i don't watch much other tv. I can stream on my laptop but i would rather watch on my flatscreen.

Was a fun game last night. PP looked more dangerous especially the 2nd Unit. Brink looked very dangerous offensively.

Ersson was great.

Team looked dangerous cycling as well which is an improvement over last season

Still uncertain about Fedotov. Looks like a goalie whos been successful because of his size not because of skill

Ersson looked good in net last night and the Flyers actually scored a powerplay goal. Let's see what Fedotov has in store for us tonight?

I have ESPN+ and all Flyers games are on there unless they are on national tv like NHL network

I hope Andrae is inserted in the lineup tonight. Makes no sense to let him be the #7 and let Johnson play. If that is the plan, should have just recalled Belpido. I want Andrae playing as many games as possible this season.

lol the Canucks are barely a bubble team without Demko. Try to remember we are playing with two backup goalies for awhile

Ersson looked great last night. I thought Luchanko had a really solid game. For better or worse I wouldn’t be surprised to see him stay in the lineup. Michkov looked off in the first two, but played well in the third. To me his best shift was with Luchanko at center. Looked like something is up with Coots. Injured already? As usual the Flyers had trouble with turnovers and failed clearing attempts. I’m sure someone will bring up stats that prove I’m wrong, but I thought Poehling was particularly terrible in their own end and that Risto had a solid game defensively. I don’t understand what the Flyers see in Poehling. Drysdale was meh. How exciting would this season be if we had Cutter too instead? Farabee flubbed on a few good chances. All in all they were outplayed for most of the game, and overtime, but very good goaltending kept them in it. Looking forward to tonight’s game. I hope Fedotov doesn’t suck.

I have espn+, hulu and disney +. I think it is cheaper or the same to get all 3 than just espn+.

I live in GA. Thanks to espn+ , I will miss just a handful of flyers games

Canucks were 1 game away from the conference finals using "Backup" Goalies. Losing in 7 to the Oilers who lost in the SC fimals. Demko played just 1 playoff game

It is? I was watching games on Center Ice on Thursday night. They do a free viewing week thing to start off the season to garner more interest.

It probably wouldn't be all that misguided if it did. This kid has a good shot at being the best of the lot. His KHL numbers (save pct.) is comparable to Sorokin, Vasilevsky and Shesterkin when they were all 19 years old. His save pct. is off the charts and he was named KHL rookie of the week in the KHL last week. Yes, I have been following along.

Oh, I wish oh wish we had Cutter instead of Drysdale! This team would be cookin with gas! Drysdale's game just doesn't impress me at all so far. He is like Ghost lite. Seems very weak on the puck in his own zone and kind of looks lost at times, and he really isn't providing any offense to make up for it (at least Ghost did that).

Agreed. Last year I got just about every Flyers game. Maybe 5-7 games I didn’t get.

He just hasn’t played much hockey over the last couple years. Sent to Siberia then played a fractured season in the KHL/NHL and now here he is. Kind of a wild card. He was a very good KHL goalie at one point.
