Thursday night was sooooo rough to watch. The 1st looked ok. But after that, the wheels fell off. I’m seriously questioning Husso….
Gonna be a hot one in the Oven tonight! (y’all see what I did there?!?!?!). Our D is like my MIL’s antique sieve. Calling up Holl….yikes. All the yikes. May have to borrow some yikes. Will be interesting to see how Johansson does, talk about a trial by fire.
Offense looked pretty ok, but a 1-game sample is by no means enough to base. Tarasenko’s gonna be a nice add. Was interesting to see at least a half-assed effort by the O guys….heck, I even saw Kane take a body!
Yes, there are blatant holes on this team; we need D help and someone needs to step up in net. Husso needs to re-group and get his head-space set.
This team, by all accounts, is better overall but we need some help. I still think this is a good team. Smashville ain’t no joke; Stammer’s happier now than he’s been in a couple of years and that spells doom for the NHL - a happy Stammer scores….at will. I think this iteration of the cats are gonna be a tough opponent. We. Must. Defend. The TEAM needs to shut down zone entry and clog the passing lanes. Eddy’s reach needs to be on full display tonight.
