What do they have to offer a team talent wise for a center? If they trade draft capital that kills their "narrative" of a rebuild

They have wingers picks and prospects they can dangle. There are no top 6 centers available that I can think of right now.

Who is out there as a potential acquisition?

Proven upgrade at center will cost a lot. Maybe they should have moved Konecny like a wise rebuilding team instead of extending him. Oh well, I'm sure the half rebuild will work well this time...

Hmm

Cal Petersen
Cameron York

For

Anton Forberg
And I guess it'll cost Ridley Greig

Sens need D. Any side. Reliable stable. Points are a blessing. The goalies are a wash skill wise and need a change of scenery. Sens fans probably don't do this because they're obsessed with Greig who appears to be a decent prospect of being a 3rd line super pest center with some offensive upside.

How's the Pens rebuild going?

I think Krebs would actually be a solid target. They can give him 2nd/3rd line center role and just let him play. Flyers can make a hockey trade. Sabres are a more win now team. Adams needs to have a good year. Maybe a guy like Laughton can help Buffalo. Can you do a straight Krebs for Cates deal?

Hasn't started. But Pittsburgh will be handed the next generational center from Bettman and Philly doesn't get that advantage so they should start tanking harder.

They don't need a 3rd or 4th line center. They need a 1st line center and there is 0 pressure to acquire one right now. If there is a 25 or younger 1st line center out there then sure it makes sense, but how often does a Jack Eichel get traded... That type of player could indeed be Luchanko, but that would still be a few years away before he evolves. Also a smart hockey fan would know that resigning TK only gives them an asset to trade if that is the direction they want to go.

Are there any 25 or younger centers available? If so, thats the discussion.

Also, a pens fan talking about rebuilds is rich. We look forward to the next time that franchise can no longer afford payroll, then the other GMS have to literally take over payment of their salaries for a period of time and or they have to give equity in trade to their superstars in order to prevent the franchise from moving to KC. Sell your crazy somewhere else. We are all full here.

McDavid and Draisaitl for big hulking Dman Samuel Morin and future considerations. Just don't tell GM Stan about Morin's knees.

A "smart hockey fan" would know that Konecny's NMC through 2031 will almost definitely limit if he can even be traded and what PHI can get in a trade.

Seems a little late in the calendar for this sort of thing. The situations with Coots, Frost have been known for some time. Poehling was never going be top 6. There is a time in the offseason for trades etc., and it has passed until we get closer to the TDL, which as we know, prices are much higher.
If we are going to get a steady diet of below par goaltending from Fedotov combined with a lack of center presence (wining faceoffs is a huge problem in all situations), they might be drafting top 5 this year.
I still don't agree with punting that 32nd pick to Edmonton. Time is NOT a luxury for this rebuild, no matter what the front office says. When the Sixers leave the sports complex, they will have to pay ALL the bills.

Rich is Philly fans trying to change any narrative as to not be reminded that their franchise has not won a championship in almost 50 years.
