I’ll probably be in the minority here, but I like the move sending Luneau to SD where he can consistently get 20+ minutes per night on the top pair. The kid only played 13 games last year and needs to see regular game action to get his game to where it needs to be. Ducks need a right shot puck moving D-man, but not if he’s going to post the lowest +/- on the team (-5 in 6 games). It shouldn’t take him very long to regain his form and confidence and be a positive difference maker at the AHL level. I expect to see him back in Anaheim soon.
